Greetings!
I apologize for the long delay between posts, but the past couple of weeks have been extremely busy, this week especially, since it was homecoming week! There were a tremendous number of events this week that were both competitive, between fraternities, clubs and such, and other events not so competitive.
Unfortunately, I was not able to participate in all the activities because of my schedule (here's the link to all of the events: http://gtalumni.org/homecoming_events) but some of them were just fun to watch. There was a game of tag throughout the entire week that used squirt guns, which was hilarious; also there was a scavenger hunt over the campus (for which my friend planted a fake clue for, and it worked). Each team got so many points for each of these events and the teams were some dorms, clubs, fraternities and sororities.
The two events which were amazing was the freshman cake race and the Wreck parade. The freshman cake race was held at 6:30 in the morning and you had to run about half a mile all the way up freshman hill. The winner got a kiss from Mr./Mrs. Georgia Tech and the second and third place got full cakes. The rest of the contestants got cupcakes. The Wreck parade, which I marched in, took place a little while after the cake race and consisted of various designs and contraptions that were judged by three judges.
There was also the homecoming game vs BYU, which sucked since we lost, however, we made an epic 100-yard return which hasn't been done in a really long time!

Cipher
Welcome!
I have finally learned a cipher! Which I have wanted to do for awhile now, but one of my hall mates finally taught me one today, its called the pigpen/masonic cipher. So I wrote two paragraphs about learning the cipher, but I could not find a font online for it so here's a picture:

Welcome!
Ok, so this is my first official blog, which means most of my posts are gonna be extremely random and awkward at points, but oh well.
So this blogging thing is way more difficult than I thought it would be, even creating a name for this blog took me thirty minutes. I thought I would try and look up examples of actual blogs and try and go off that, yeah, I was wrong. When you google search "blog examples" you get example designs, examples of every type of blog, and then one page thats a how-to guide. The funny thing about the how-to guide is that it mostly tells you what websites you can use and then says "write what you want to write about". Really? Write what I want to write about in my own blog? Thank you captain obvious, really didn't know that.
In addition to these ridiculous sites about the most pointless things (not saying blogs are pointless, that'd be hypocritical, just the sites that are supposed to help you) there are really weird advertisments, such as:

Really? A guy hacked his own blog? I understand hacking as breaking the code to something to gain access to usually restricted items, but by the definition used in the advertisement, I hack into my blog/facebook/email everyday (yes, I understand he modified the code to send new traffic, but it was bad word choice. Also, the second check mark "How to get it written for you for cheap", doesn't that ruin the point of a blog? Like really? Oh, well.
Ok, well thats my post/rant for today, and just for your reference, I won't always just be critiquing other things, and my english may be terrible, but deal with it.
